Why This Works
Easier Than Starting Alone
01
Most Kids' Campuses Teach One Thing
When a child outgrows it, the family leaves. OpenKids teaches Art and Tech together, from age 3 up to 24. Families stay for years, and so do your students.
02
You Don't Start From Zero
It already runs in Kuala Lumpur, our first market outside Singapore, on the same lessons and system as home. You copy a campus that works instead of guessing what might.
03
You Don't Need To Be A Teacher
You bring the drive. We bring the lessons, the training, the tools and the opening plan.
Proof It's Real
Real Campuses On Real High Streets
350 to 600
students. That's what a mature campus typically serves, and the one operating figure we publish.
Kuala Lumpur was our first market outside Singapore, run on the same curriculum and MagiBox system. Operating there: OpenKids Art DesaPark Campus (Desa ParkCity) and Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Damansara. Visit one before you sign anything.
Students from OpenKids programmes have received offers to study design, film and game design at universities including Melbourne, Sydney, NYU and USC. Individual results, never a guarantee.

Questions
Straight Answers Before Your Call
How much is the investment?
Investment levels vary by country, location and tier, and are confirmed on your discovery call. Every figure is documented before you sign anything.
What is included in the initial investment?
The initial package covers partner and teacher training, including pre-opening training and certification at Singapore HQ, full curriculum licensing and certification, the MagiBox + CRM technology stack, site-selection and fit-out standards, and pre-opening marketing. Exact amounts vary by market and tier, and every figure is confirmed in writing before you sign.
Is my territory protected?
Yes. Every tier includes territory protection: a 3 km radius at Campus Partner, an exclusive territory at City Partner (its scope set in the partnership agreement), and exclusive country or regional rights at Master Partner level.
Do you publish revenue or payback figures?
No, and deliberately so. Rent, staffing, local pricing and enrolment ramp differ too much between cities for any honest universal number, so OpenKids makes no payback-period, cash-flow or income promise. The one operating figure we publish is capacity: a mature campus typically serves 350 to 600 students. The full fee structure is disclosed on enquiry, HQ builds a financial model for your market with you, and every figure is confirmed in writing before you sign.
What ongoing support do I get?
Training, curriculum updates, competition access, enrolment campaigns supported by HQ and the MagiBox + CRM system, for the life of the partnership.
Investment
How is the OpenKids partnership structured?
OpenKids runs a tiered partnership system rather than a single off-the-shelf package. Global Partners are licensed to operate the OpenKids brand, its programmes and its technology at one of three tiers: Campus Partner, City Partner or Master Partner. Each has its own territory, campus format and support scope, and every tier carries both Art and Tech. The exact legal structure and terms for your market are confirmed in writing during discovery.
Can I move up to a higher tier later?
Whether and when you can move up a tier, for example from Campus Partner to City Partner, is set out in your partnership agreement. We walk you through it on your discovery call.
What is the agreement term, and can I renew it?
The term of the agreement and the conditions for renewal are set out in the partnership agreement for your market, and every term is confirmed in writing before you sign.
Territory
What territories are currently available?
Availability changes as territories are signed, so open areas are confirmed on your discovery call. In Malaysia, Penang, Johor Bahru, Mont Kiara, Puchong and Subang Jaya are open to Global Partners. Each protected territory is granted to one partner only. Global Partners are also being recruited in other countries.
Can I open more than one campus?
Yes. City Partners hold second-campus priority within their territory, and Master Partners operate multi-campus networks with sub-licensing.
Running a campus
How long does it take to open a campus?
It varies by market. Site selection, local licensing and fit-out move at different speeds in different cities, so some campuses open sooner than others. Every campus follows the same eight steps, from your application to opening day.
Do I need an education background?
No. You need no education background or teaching degree. You bring market understanding and commitment. We bring curriculum, training, technology and brand.
Do I have to run the campus myself?
You need a committed operator: you, or a general manager you trust. Year one is a build, so plan to stay close to it.
What local licences are required to open a campus?
Requirements differ by country. In Malaysia, for example, an enrichment campus typically needs company incorporation, registration with the local education authorities, premises and signage licences from the local council, and fire-safety approval. HQ provides a country-specific licensing checklist and walks you through it during setup. This is operational guidance, not legal advice.
What language is the curriculum in?
English first, with bilingual delivery where your market needs it. All materials, training and the platform are delivered in English.
About OpenKids
What is OpenKids?
OpenKids is an education brand of TAFA Group, an education group founded in Singapore in 2015. It is headquartered in Singapore and operated by Openkids International Pte Ltd. Its two programmes, Art for ages 3 to 18 and Tech for ages 4 to 18 (robotics, AI coding and 3D design, with competition training from age 8 by readiness through to 24, and university-application technology training after 16), form one continuous path from age 3 to 24. Their curriculum comes from the OpenKids sub-brands TreeArt, Futurum Academy, AK Robotics and GaiaX, taught on one in-house AI teaching system. OpenKids operates campuses in Singapore and Malaysia, with new campuses opening and Global Partners joining across its network.
Which programmes and sub-brands are included in a partnership?
Both OpenKids programme systems: Art (ages 3 to 18), whose curriculum comes from TreeArt, and Tech (ages 4 to 18: robotics, AI coding and 3D design), whose curriculum comes from Futurum Academy and AK Robotics. Competition training within Tech, which students join from age 8 by readiness, and Future Pathways, the admissions guidance from GaiaX that both programmes share, run for ages 8 to 24. Around them sits the in-house technology stack of the MagiBox teaching system and CRM. Every tier, from Campus Partner to Master Partner, carries both programme systems.
Who owns and operates OpenKids?
OpenKids is an education brand of TAFA Group, an education group founded in Singapore in 2015, and is operated by Openkids International Pte Ltd from its Singapore headquarters. OpenKids has campuses across Singapore and brings the same programmes to new cities through its Global Partner network.
