Seventy-nine works from Singapore were honoured in an international youth art programme that turns the friendship between two countries into pictures.
The 2025 Hello Friendship in Bloom International Youth Art Collection invited young people in China and Singapore to use painting as a shared language. Hosted by the Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People and the China Cultural Centre in Singapore, it received close to a thousand entries from the two countries.
After review by an expert jury, seventy-nine works from Singapore received awards. Friendship, shared tables, festivals and two skylines recur across them — each a small conversation between two cultures.
